Zox & Cru’s Experimental Art Film FUTURE OF ART Winner of the Berlin Indie Film Festival

POP UP

POP UP identifies rising trends affecting art’s future and places these trajectories into the context of art history. The film has won six awards. This experimental documentary features a van full of Zox art traveling to thirteen venues spanning the US from Silicon Valley to New York and back across to LA, mounting pop up exhibitions in cities on the verge of the next innovative explosion. The graphic language of the road, music events, dance and cuisine blend into the story that will form the swiftly morphing art paradigm. Zox and Cru, long time collaborators on conceptual shorts, create their first full length feature in a unique personal style that’s both informative and creatively provoking.

An Angel Feather by Randy Berlin

Do we turn into angels when we die or are we already angels who haven’t discovered all our powers in this realm? An Angel Feather explores the world of a flying spirit and the inter-dimensional connection to the physical body. When we enfold our wishes into the cosmic fabric of the spacetime continuum, what is the mechanism that actually manifests them into tangible reality? Everyone is in the epicenter of the elements that are providing basic life support. Mere existence doesn't satisfy the spirit and we’re all seeking an expression to allow us to create life on our own terms and play our music with access to full orchestration. Winner of seven film festivals and counting.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME BY DWIGHT TWILLEY

King of Power Pop Dwight Twilley’s last video he shot months before his tragic death is a love song to his home town, Tulsa Oklahoma. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue his rock dreams, but when his house was destroyed in the famous 1994 earthquake, he returned to Tulsa with his wife Jan. Thanks to having his song “Why You Wanna break My Heart” on the Wayne’s World chart-topping soundtrack, Dwight was able to buy The Big Oak Ranch where he set up his recording studio. Within these acoustically audio dynamic walls he recorded “No Place Like Home” as well as scores of other magic tunes.
